The Daytona Beach 500
Got back from Grayton Beach FL. What's wrong with me when a vacation wears me out than my normal life? I always need to recuperate from vacations. They're shocks to the system and should be treated as such, I guess.
It was fun, though. Much less drama than anticipated. About the same alcohol quotient though.
This beach, this Grayton Beach, hippie heart of the South Walton panhandle, is cool. The sand is powdery and deep. So deep you need a 4-wheel-drive vehicle - preferably with a loud engine a la Harley-Davidson glass-packed - to get to the actual beachfront.
But the sand all along that panhandle is the same, you say?
