HD Television and The Snakemaster
I just got an HD TV. I can't tell that much difference from regular TV, yet feel compelled to watch HD Channels only because I can.
Which brings me to "Austin Stevens: The Snakemaster." Last night's episode: "The Search for the World's Deadliest Pit Viper." Austin - kind of an English mix between Marlon Perkins and That Surfer Guy Who Got Eaten By That Bear - evidently feels a real honest-to-god rapport with these freaking things. It's almost spiritual to him, you can tell. Which doesn't make it endearing, I just wanted to mention it.
Well, he goes to Costa Rica to hunt for the Lancehead Viper... The World's Deadliest Pit Viper. He says Costa Rica is home to more species of Pit Viper than anywhere else in the world.
I went to Costa Rica once. I could've been killed.
