Dr. Gloom knows a local manager who recently was asked to approve a vacation, via e-mail and with urgency, by an employee who was, at the time of the request, already on vacation.
The following is the response he wanted to send, but didn't.
"Dear Fuckface:
Fuck you. Who is dumb enough to ask for a vacation on the last day of their CURRENT VACATION? Wait, I guess it's clear. YOU ARE.
You give me less than a month's notice, at the end of a week when I'd been doing extra work because you were gone, and you want another VACATION? And, you need a quick approval to get a good airfare deal?
WHY CERTAINLY, FUCKFACE! BY ALL MEANS, I WOULD LOVE TO DEDICATE PART OF MY WORKDAY TO EXPEDITIOUSLY APPROVE YOUR NEWEST VACATION ADVENTURE!
