Snoralympics
Is it just this year I realize I don't really like the Winter Olympics? Have I just not noticed before? Have my tastes changed that radically?
I used to love it. "Miracle on Ice" and all that. Now the only interesting Americans are (a) stoners, and (b) Bode Miller. (These labels are not exclusionary, only illustrative.) The Flying Tomato wins, which is great for the stoner contingent, but Bode gets DNQ'd. At least they were worth watching.
But what else is there to it? Other than snowboarders and Bode Miller? Oh, apologies: I just watched some heats from the women's 500m speed skate, where 4 skaters race together. Saw one group crash. It was very NASCAR.
Including the part with the women's thighs being the size of my waist.
